Ropes (around the greens) 

You are able to clean and place inside the ropes (no nearer the hole) without penalty. The ropes are deemed to be fixed and should not be moved. If your ball comes to rest against the rope free relief may be taken.

Trolley Wheels

Previous years' experience has shown the great benefit to the course by insisting on hedgehog / winter wheels in the winter. Any power or pull trolley MUST have winter wheels from Wednesday 16th November. The professional has a range of these for sale in the shop to fit all trolleys. Alternatively, hire trollies are available from the professional, or carry a lighter winter bag if you can.

Buggy and Trolley Use

We will once again use the Traffic light system to advise members of the opportunities to use buggies and trolleys. Please see this link which is on the club website. We will try to allow use of buggies and trolleys as often as possible however there may be occasions due to wet or frosty weather when restrictions will have to be put in place. If you are using a trolley, then it has been proven that lightening the load in your bag dramatically helps the course in winter. If possible, please support the green keepers in this regard.

This week in the winter league was a best 2 from 4 Stableford. Team of Matt Kelly, Tom Kelly, Jamie Miller and Henry Wharton were this week's lucky winners and to win by 4pts with a total score of 92pts, £22.50 each has been credited to your accounts. Well done guys. 

This week we have installed a new contactless sign in method to enter competitions. So next time you are in ask for a demo, all you need to bring is your Golf Club Card (bar card) and of course you competition entry fee. You can still use the old method to sign in if you forget your card so don't panic!
