Captain's Day 2017

On Saturday, this year's Captain Glynn Rodgers had his Captains day. With 196 people lined up to play in the year's prestigious event it was going to be a good one. Along with 196 golfers Glynn must have ordered the weather as it was one of the hottest days of the year and great scoring conditions. With the course in great shape we were expecting some good scores. 

We were not disappointed with 41 points was the best score on the day. 41 points is impressive, however, when he plays off 3, it is even more impressive! Sam Pepper shot a gross 70 to win this year's Captain's Day. 

Congratulations Sam on a great score and to Glynn for a very fun and well organised Captain's Day.

US Open

I am sure many of you watched the US Open last weekend and were rooting for English lad Tommy Fleetwood on Sunday. It was a great show by Tommy and 4th place was a great achievement. Tommy is definitely one of our top countrymen in golf at the moment
