Club Championship MatchPlay Final SATURDAY 19TH July
Throughout this week the club had the knockout stages of the club championship. The two players that made it through to the 36 hole final were George Forder and Matt Heels. After the first 18 holes, George had a 5 up advantage which he maintained into the final 18 to win 6&5 and become the club championship matchplay winner for 2014. Well done to both players for getting to the final and well done George on the victory.
Ladies Jubilee Jug TUESDAY 15th July
The ladies played for the Jubilee jug on Tuesday with K.E Bradley the overall winner with a nett 73. Maxine Booth took 2nd place with a nett 75.
Breakfast Shotgun SUNDAY 20th July
At 7am on Sunday morning 20 four balls of golfers tackled Fulford for the annual Breakfast shotgun competition. It was a family affair as the winners were father and sons Mal Pepper, Will Pepper and Sam Pepper with new member Jason Webb Scoring 91 points in the AM/AM format.

Junior coaching
After hosting a successful Junior Open weekend, my assistants Dan and Mark are running Junior Golf Coaching sessions through the Junior Golf Passport Scheme. They are both running summer camps throughout the school holidays for 7-12 year olds. The dates of Marks coaching courses are Tuesday 29th July - 31st July and Tuesday 19th August - 21st August. Each session goes from 10am - 12am with all equipment provided. Dan's Coaching Courses Tuesday 5th August - 7th August 10am -12am and Tuesday 19th August - 21st August 2pm - 4pm. Each class is £50 per child. If you have any young family members that are interested in starting golf this is the perfect opportunity and the ideal path towards junior membership and beyond. We are also taking booking for Saturday and Sunday coaching classes during school term time.
