YORK IDU MATCH

Fulford hosted the York v Sheffield Inter District Union match on Sunday and after some testing windy conditions York came out victorious with a 21 point to 15 win. This not only won the match but secured the York Union the league win. WELL DONE LADS!!

Benson & Hedges

Well probably our most notable competition in the clubs diary for its rich history, The Benson & Hedges trophy. Over 150 competitors took to the fairways on Saturday in some testing conditions. Mr Comp sec himself proved to be a tough cookie to beat shooting a tremendous nett 67; -5 to win by 3 shots. Well done Barry Hughes, get that handicap chopped!

As you know Dan & I tee'd it up in the oldest professional golf competition last week at Leeds Oulton Hall and that's all we have to report! Tough conditions left us both missing the cut. Next for us both is the Manchester open Wednesday 28th August.
