Wines and spirits (1+2)
On Saturday and Sunday, we had the annual wine and spirits competition. The format was a fourball betterball and despite the wind and heavy rain, David Bell and Jake Capper scored a fantastic 44 points only putting them one point in front of Neil Price and Christian Hall. These are two fantastic scores and a well done to all four players. Overnight, the weather had improved and had influenced a few more pairs to enter the competition on the Sunday. Stuart Cousins who was paired with Charles Ireland, scored a brilliant 46 points. Scoring the same points was Richard Lavell and Graham Sisson. These are great scores considering the conditions beforehand. The great scores didn’t stop there as through out the day many more scores in the forties were achieved. Details of what wines and spirits were won will be posted shortly.
