Arther Brown Trophy
Our fine weather continued in what proved to be a day for low scoring, with six pairs tied on a score of 65 and 10 tied on 66 in this years 4BBB Arther Brown Trophy. The lucky winners with a better back 9 score were Rick Weights & Tom Keeney. Well done to you and all tied on 65.
Mackenzie Salver
Last week it was George's turn to fly the pro shop flag in the club's annual event, the Mackenzie Salver. George shot two impressive rounds under par, with scores of 69 and 70 to finish on -5 and runner up behind Malton's David Hague on 9 under par.
In light of this result, it sets up well for The Yorkshire Amateur this week, with George aiming to continue his fine form with home advantage again on his side as well as 11 other companions from Fulford looking to fight it out for the regions 2015 amateur champion. Good luck to all playing this week.
